Hi, I'm Olga Dutta! Art has been my lifelong passion, and I find my greatest purpose in translating the world's beauty onto canvas and paper. 

Based in the rugged beauty of British Columbia, I am a lifelong artist and educator who has spent the majority of my career sharing the joy of creation as an art teacher. My personal practice is a balance of painting and drawing, serving as a deep exploration of the natural world and the surreal spaces of the imagination.

From the fluid depths of aquatic life and the intricate architecture of botanical forms to the raw spirit of animals and the vast B.C. landscapes, my work seeks to capture the essence of my subjects through light, shadow, and texture. Whether I am working in vibrant color or the graphic clarity of black and white, my goal is to translate the fleeting beauty of the world into timeless pieces for the home and gallery.

I enjoy guiding others to find their creative voice, I also focus on my own studio work, offering original pieces that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and rediscover the wonder in the details of the living world.
